Marlbough Hospice Dinner 2008
The Marlborough Hospice Dinner is an annual fundraising event for the Marlborough
Hospice Foundation. This year’s formal dinner will be held at Montana Brancott Winery
on the 4 July 2008. Guests will be treated to a five course dinner by renowned
International Master Chef Tetsuya Wakuda.
Tetsuya is head chef and owner of the world famous restaurant
Tetsuya’s in Sydney. In April 2007 Tetsuya’s retained its position as the fifth best
restaurant in the world as voted by UK Restaurant magazine. Tetsuya’s sheer brilliance
as a chef and artistic flair with food has him amongst the top internationally ranked
chefs in the world.

Hospice Dinner Auction -
VIEW THE AUCTION ITEMS IN THE LIST BELOW
This year’s auction has some fantastic items, the highlight being the degustation menu
dinner for eight, gifted by Tetsuya. The lucky winners of this lot will be treated to
a degustation menu dinner at the executive room at Marlborough’s new restaurant
“Raupo”. Tetsuya himself will travel to Blenheim and prepare the dinner for the
successful bidder.
The organisers welcome any absentee bids for any of the items
listed. These bids will be managed by Dean Heiford the financial controller for the
event and bid on your behalf on the night.
There are rules associated with the lodging of absentee bids and
how they will bid for you, for a copy of these rules please e-mail
dean.heiford@marlborough.govt.nz.
A copy of the rules will be e-mailed to you and any subsequent absentee bids that you
wish to lodge can be e-mailed to the same address.
