What is the Marlborough Hospice Foundation?
The Marlborough Hospice Foundation (the Foundation) exists to secure the future of the Marlborough Community Hospice (the Hospice) and associated palliative services in Marlborough.

How does the 'Hospice Foundation' help the 'Marlborough Community Hospice'?
The Foundation seeks donations for a capital fund, the income from which is applied to the operating costs and capital needs of the Hospice. The Trust deed also allows for the future funding of alternative providers of palliative care in Marlborough or the direct funding of palliative care in the region.

Relationships
Over time, many supporters will give money to both the Foundation and the Trust. Both organisations help the Hospice maintain and develop long-term palliative care within the Marlborough community. Donations to the Foundation are invested in a long term capital fund, the interest from which can be used by the Hospice for day to day operating expenses.
